Big thank you to Elena for putting this together. Here are our newest club uniforms, jacket, hats, headbands and gaiters.

Everyone is encouraged to purchase the club gear to represent New Mexico and Southwest Nordic everywhere they ski! 

A couple of funny side stories on representing New Mexico/Southwest Nordic and on why it's on the suit in large letters now: 

1) multiple reports from our skiers racing in the Birke in our red/yellow uniforms and being cheered on as "Go Southwest Airlines!" 

2) we recently found out that even CO teams who know our team well have a few members who have long assumed Southwest Nordic meant we are based in Southwest of CO so....

2) while at junior and NCAA college race weekend in Vail we overheard a few of the college skiers from outside of the Rocky Mountain region say "Those chicks from Mexico sure know how to ski!" Uhm, yeah, they speak English pretty well too 🤣😂 

As a result #newmexicoskiing is now a tag we use a lot (please consider adding it to your posts if you do social media) and we are adding 'NEW MEXICO' onto our clothing more prominently ;)

Hi all, 

attached here are additional sizing info from Borah Teamwear for our order that includes sleeve and pant leg lengths. Please look at these dimensions as well, not just the online borah sizing when picking your sizes to ensure proper fit.

If you are interested in ordering a ONE PIECE race suit, please let me know ASAP. They will add them to our store if we have the potential for at least 5 suits worth (can be 5 of men and womens mixed, not just 5 of one gender). I'm guessing we won't have that many, but do let me know if you are interested so we can let them know.

Friendly reminder that if you want to order any team gear you have 2 days left to order! Store closes this Monday evening.

We have some sizing tips:

We have the Borah brand national team suit from Sanna on hand and Unisex pieces have significantly longer inseams and sleeves for comparable chest sizes.

If it helps for size reference the following skiers ordered the following sizes after trying on Sanna's suit, plus exhaustive measuring and cross referencing the online size chart and the attached lengths:

5'9' female skier 125lbs: Unisex XS top, Unisex Med bottom, Womens Small Jacket

5'6" female skier 108lbs : Womens XS top, Unisex Small Bottom

5'8" female skier 135lbs: Womens S top, Unisex Med bottom, Jacket Womens Small

5'10" female skier 175lbs: Unisex XL in everything

5'10" female skier 165lbs: Women's L jacket and unisex size M in race top and unisex L bottom

5'3" female skier 115lbs: women's small in everything

5'8' male skier 105lbs: Unisex S top, Unisex Med bottom, Unisex Med Jacket

6'2" male skier 190lbs: Unisex L jacket

Please note that headbands, hats and gaiters come in three different colors, hats have height sizes and gaiters can be thin or thermal.
