Hi all,
It's been a weird "transition" to spring this year with winter hardly even making much of an appearance. I've long since moved on from the ski operation, but alas, I kinda got reminded that there's still stuff to do up there with the County waterline project meetings being held right at the trailhead.
For once, our family took a full week trip during spring break, so we're just now getting back into the swing of things on the home front. Unfortunately, this coming weekend is a bit shot for us again with kids having sports activities both days. I do want to get going on getting the fencing down, and to get the trees cleared that have come down during those high wind events back in March.
I'm gonna head up there this evening to just get a start on things -- pull the Kubota out of storage and see if we can get going on fence and tree removal. Most of my efforts will probably have to be after work because of the weekend situation. But, if any of you can organize and get up there to remove the fencing, that would be great. You can just simply roll it up and leave it on the upper side of the trail, and we'll come get it to put into summer storage.
Depending on how this goes, it may take a couple of weeks to get accomplished, but that's OK.
I know they are saying that the Camp May road is closed during the week, but it's possible to drive up after about 5pm, and certainly on weekends.
