Senior Quality Engineer
Interprets contracts to determine quality requirements of a program. Generates contract quality data items, quality program plans, inspection and test flow diagrams as required by contract. Develops quality policy by writing inspection procedures. Works closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Planning, Drafting and other departments to resolve problems of a quality nature. Reviews shop planning, source control and specification control drawings for adequacy and or adequate quality requirements of applicable procedures in conformance with contractual requirements. Participates in design reviews with customers and Company engineering personnel. Interfaces with customer or government quality representatives for quality problem resolution. Performs trend analyses to detect trends, reviewing data and taking corrective action on processes or systems out of control. Performs surveys with suppliers, or potential new suppliers, to determine their ability to meet quality requirements.
Four-year college degree in an electronics or communications engineering discipline plus five years experience as a Quality Engineer with electro-mechanical manufacturing companies. At least 3 years of experience working on in a Defense Industry with electro-mechanical manufacturing companies and 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Product Assurance.
