What is WLAN?
WLAN stand for Wireless Local Area Network. A WLAN is a local area network that doesn't depends on the wired Ethernet connections. This is a computer local area network that ranging the sizes from single office to thousands of office or a single device to multiple devices. They are functioned to link different computer together and provide shared access to printers, serves and file servers and other devices. To connect many computers together with LAN/WAN (WAN: Wide Area Network) requires lot of networking connections and hence WLAN became popular.
