Kerbela Project Update - June 11th

News from SWAAG (South Waterfront Advocacy and Advisory Group)

Thank you to everyone who submitted comments regarding the Kerbela development proposal that was scheduled to be heard by the Planning Commission today.

The developer has requested a 30-day postponement of the case:

While the reasons for the delay have not been publicly stated, we believe the significant community response highlighting the importance of aligning development within the South Waterfront with the adopted Vision Plan helped confirm the concerns raised by SWAAG and others.
