Greetings neighbors,

Hope everyone had a lovely celebration of the 249th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence!! Part of celebrating democracy is our right to elect our leaders!! 

Mark your calendar and save the date! SKNBC is joining with the South Knoxville Alliance, Old Sevier Merchants Association, and the League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County to sponsor a 1st District Candidate Forum.

July 29th, 6:30pm at South High Senior Living (825 Tipton Ave)

All 1st district candidates have confirmed they will attend. This is your opportunity to hear candidate responses to questions pertaining to our community and Knoxville as a whole. There will also be a meet and greet after the forum so you can meet with the candidates one-on-one.

We want you to know which topics are important to you... what concerns do you have for the future of South Knoxville and Knoxville as a whole.  Please use the form linked below to submit potential questions by July 22nd so we can compile a list for the forum. NOTE: if you attend the forum, you will also have an opportunity to submit questions to be asked.
