Save the Date! SWNA National Night Out Event - October 1st

Greetings neighbors!!

SWNA will join with Vestal Community Organization to recognize National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1st at Sam Duff Park starting at 6:00 p.m. (Hedgeapple side of the park)

Come help honor our police, firefighters and first responders and enjoy chili from Roundup Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor and Ice Cream from Smiley Swirl Ice Cream Truck courtesy of KUB Fiber. NOTE: Vegan/gluten-free options available.

You can help support our public servants by bringing a contribution of a small stuffed toy, small police car, or anything they can hand out to little ones to east them during time of crisis.

We need your help!! We have flyers to deliver between now and next weekend. Please send an email to in...@swna-knox.org if you can deliver flyers on your street. As my mother always said, many hands make light work.

Thanks.  Do we have a meeting on the 23rd of Sept?  It is on my calendar as membership meeting.  And Oct. 28th probably a BOG meeting?

Excellent question, Sylvia… and THANKS for asking! :)

We often will trade out our September meeting to participate in National Night Out. That’s what we’re doing this year so…

There will be no neighborhood meeting on September 23rd.

For those on the board, we will have our scheduled board meeting on the 28th of October.

Hope to see all at Sam Duff Park on Oct. 1st for National Night Out chili, ice cream and good times!
