The Neighborhood Resource Fair is this Saturday, August 10, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Jacob Building in Chilhowee Park, 401 Lakeside St.

Remember, registration was not required and admission is free so bring friends and family! This event is drop in style; you do not need to stay the entire time, but feel free to stay the full four hours if you like.

For those needing accessible parking with an accessible entrance, you will be able to park on the far left side of the building, coming from Lakeside St.  If you do not need accessible parking, please leave this area for those using wheelchairs and who cannot walk long distances.

Additional parking options can be found below.

When you arrive on Saturday, please visit the information table at the main entrance of the Jacob Building.  For folks that pre-registered, you will need to check-in and receive two free food tickets and six door prize tickets. For folks that did not pre-register, they will need to register on-site. You will receive two free food item tickets and one door prize ticket.

Door prizes will be drawn throughout the day starting at 9 a.m. and finishing right before 1 p.m.

Wi-Fi is free and does not require a password.

We recommend that you bring a bag for the information/swag you receive at the event, and we advise that you wear cooler clothing in case it warm inside the Jacob Building. There will be AC, but it might be difficult to cool this large of a space.

Don’t forget about the Touch-A-Truck Event which will take place in the parking lot to the right of the Jacob Building if you are facing the main entrance. Captain Paul Trumpore with the Knoxville Fire Department will be educating families about fire safety at the Fire Safety House at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The Fire Safety House will be located in the same parking lot to the right of the Jacob Building.

There will be several fun activities like face painting to participate in and booths for kids to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you there!
