Greetings Neighbors!

Instead our bi-monthly membership meeting that would have been next Monday, SWNA is participating in the city recognition of National Night Out on Tuesday, October 4th.

This will be a fun night filled with music, a chili cook-off, cake walk, and general socializing while we honor and give thanks to the police officers, fire fighters and first responders who serve us.

What: National Night Out
When: Tuesday, October 4th starting @ 6:30 p.m.
Where: Woodlawn Church Parking Lot

Do you have the award-winning chili recipe?? Bring a pot and add it to the mix! If you plan to bring chili, please send an email to so we can save your pot a space on the table.

We will also be collecting snacks like peanuts, crackers, chips, protein bars and anything else that is an easy snack for officers to put in their cruisers or firefighters to put in the firetruck in case they get stuck on a long call or long assignment where they can't go grab something. We’re looking for anything that can be put in a patrol car and not melt or go bad quickly.

Mark the date on your calendar and watch for more details to come soon!
