6.  Vision Zero Traffic Safety Outreach Continues

Thanks to the neighborhood groups who have signed up to learn more about the City’s Vision Zero initiative and provided valuable feedback to inform the plan to end life-altering crashes on Knoxville roads.

The City’s Office of Sustainability is evaluating high-injury networks and community concerns in an effort to eliminate life-altering crashes. As part of this work, the City’s Vision Zero (VZ) team wants to hear from neighbors!

If you would like a Vision Zero representative to present to your group -- neighborhood association, social club, church group, workplace, or other entity -- email sustain...@knoxvilletn.gov. The facilitator will conduct a 30- to 45-minute discussion about your traffic safety concerns.

For more information on the City’s plans to work towards the elimination of fatalities and serious injuries caused by crashes, visit www.KnoxvilleTN.gov/VisionZero/ and follow Vision Zero Knoxville on Facebook.
