Roots in South Knoxville - March 28th

Greetings neighbors…

Ready for spring?!? With this nice weather we’ve been having, I’m so ready to get out, get some Vitamin D, and get some gardening in in my spare time.

SWNA will be taking part in this year’s Roots in South Knoxville Spring Fling! This annual is so much fun… each year more participants and things to do are added! The event is March 28th from 4 - 6 p.m @ Dogwood Elementary School on Tipton Ave.

SWNA’s table is the ever popular Outdoor Plant & Seed share. If you are clearing out your beds for spring and thinning perennials, save them out and bring them to the spring fling. Or, if you’ve planted all those basil seeds (or other outdoor/garden seeds) in starter pots and have way too many for your garden, bring those along as well. We’re looking for donations of plant, cuttings, seeds, etc. If you have indoor plants you want to share, bring those along as well.

There will be children's activities, food trucks, guided hikes, educational booths, free book giveaway, and more! You know you want to come to this event!
