8.  Holocaust Remembrance Day

On Saturday, Jan. 27, the world will recognize and remember the destruction of the Holocaust that happened in Germany against the European Jewish community. This genocide took over 6 million European Jews lives all stemming from Nazi belief.

The Holocaust happened during World War II between 1941 and 1945 where Nazi Germany systematically erased two thirds of the Jewish population.

Hold, recall, and uphold this day as a day of remembrance. “Let all generations remember” so that hopefully we can do better for all people.
