The attached traffic advisory was issued by KUB Communications & External Relations this afternoon. This release will be posted online and social media.
(South Knox) Chapman Highway Lane Closures [October 25 – November 16] – KUB contractor crews will implement north- and southbound curbside lane and shoulder closures on the section of Chapman Highway between E Blount Avenue and E Young High Pike weekdays from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., starting Tuesday, October 25, through Wednesday, November 16, as work is performed on the electric distribution system in the area. Inside north- and southbound lanes will remain open to traffic flow. Lane/shoulder closures will be limited to the immediate area where crews are working. Crews will not work on both sides of the road at the same time. Flaggers, channeling devices, and signage will be on site to assist with traffic control.
