ATTN SWNA: Kerbela site project

Greetings neighbors,

I am sharing information received regarding a proposed project for the highly visible Kerbela Shriners site. The documents available on Google Drive indicate plans for an estimated 366,000-square-foot building (approximately 217–223 units) spanning from the existing Kerbela Temple building site and extending toward Dawson Street.

Because unit sizes can vary, direct comparisons can be difficult. However, to provide some context for scale, the existing Flagship Kerns building contains 160 units, which may help illustrate the relative size of the proposed development.

Attached is a flyer with details about two upcoming information sessions scheduled for April 1 and April 2, where community members can learn more about the project and ask questions. I encourage you to attend one of these sessions and share any questions, concerns, or feedback you may have.

NOTE: this project is currently on the Planning Commission for April 9th.
