Greetings Neighbors,

Find the attached flyer for SKNBC's upcoming Candidate Forum. Please help us spread the word by sharing it with your friends, neighbors, and community groups. If you have a bulletin board or other community location where you can post a flyer, we'd greatly appreciate your help.

Event Details

Date: Thursday, July 16, 2026
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: South High Senior Living

The forum is free and open to the public. Ample free parking is available, and light refreshments will be served.

This event is presented by the South Knoxville Neighborhood and Business Coalition (SKNBC) in partnership with the South Doyle Neighborhood Association, the South Knoxville Alliance of Businesses and Professionals, and the Old Sevier Merchants Association.

Candidates participating in other races that will appear on the August ballot have also been invited to attend and meet with community members before and after the forum. To view all offices and candidates on the August ballot, visit the Knox County Election Commission website.

Early voting begins July 17 and continues through August 1, 2026. You can also visit the Knox County Election Commission website to check your voter registration, view your sample ballot, and learn more about the upcoming election.

We hope you'll join us for an informative evening of community engagement.

Janice I will advertise through my groups, but I will be out of town.  My Dad’s family is having a Swann Family Reunion in middle TN.  I have not seen these cousins for proably 30 years and they were raised in Knox along with my brother and sisers years ago.  I always attend the forums, but cannot this time.  I will be back late Friday, so will be voting on Saturday.
