Matt,
I know you're a busy guy, but wouldn't a good solution be to restrict
posts to members and manually approve new members?
I don't get the spam messages either, but it's too bad there isn't
more legitimate use on the list. It would be good if we can find a
way to stop people from jumping ship.
Some people (including myself) may even be willing to volunteer as
moderators if you wanted to turn on message moderation.
