Simple Flex 3 example for Swiz 1.x?

Does anyone have a simple or quick and dirty example of a Flex 3 app running the newer version of Swiz? I used much older autowire versions with Flex 3.x in the past, then used Swiz 1.x in Flex 4, but I am now having to do a project in Flex 3 (for Livecycle Workspace) and when I try to use Swix 1.4 for Flex 3 (swiz-framework-v1.4.0-flex3.swc), everything initializes fine, but the [Inject] variables are not getting injected. 

I figure it's far more likely a simple mistake on my part than a bug, so if I had a sample project to compare with, that would be a huge help.
