Has anybody experienced the same: when I publish to .air swiz works just fine and wires up all my views correctly.

However, when I publish the same app as signed native installer (my app needs to call some helper apps via NativeProcess) , my beans aren't being wired in the views when I run the app.

Hmm. I'm still looking into what's happening and will post more details as I discover them. But just wanted to see if somebody has experienced this before and knows a quick solution.

Thanks in advance.

Daniel

Have you compiled with the additional metadata required for swiz? The release version requires that you provide all additional metadata as compiler arguments.

It sounds like you're missing the metadata in your release build. Check http://goo.gl/yImfgV

Thanks Brian and João,

Actually both .air and .exe weren't working, and the problem was missing meta-data but for Flexxb rather than swiz.

Thanks for your responses. I appreciate your time...I was afraid nobody was left in the swiz forum!

I really just hang around to try and answer the occasional question. I haven't used Swiz (or Flex) for years.

Brian,

Out of curiousity - what technology are you currently focussing on?

Primarily Ext JS (with Deft JS for IoC and MVC), with some jQuery, Backbone, and Bootstrap used instead for simpler UIs.
