View Mediator vs Presentation Model - which one is better...

I am really new to Swiz framework. Please pardon my ignorance about this.

I have used Pure MVC framework for Flex before. In Pure MVC, View is always tied with Mediator. While View is responsible containing plain UI (no business logic), Mediator is the one which handles View events and communicate to the Server via Controller/Service.

However when I am going thru Swiz documentation and examples, I noticed that in addition to Mediator (which is very similar to Pure MVC), there is something else available as well - Presentation Model!! Also it seems PM is recommended for better decoupling. 

Is there any advantage of using one over the other?

FYI, I am doing my development using Flash Builder 4.6 targeting Flash Player V 11.2 or higher.
