If I "update data" and replace the entire data set with a new one that contains all of the old fields plus a new one, will existing charts be ok? What I have in mind is adding a "Ranking" field to the medal data underlying this chart: http://www.swivel.com/graphs/show/29155577

Hi Sean,

If you want "replace data" with new rows of data, or change existing
rows of data, all the charts in Swivel would get updated as well.
However, Swivel will only allow you to replace data if the new data
set has the same (number and names) of columns as the existing one.
So, in the case of creating a new column with the rankings of Olympic
athletes, you would need to create a new data set.

Hope this helps!

Best,
Natalie

Thanks! I've been bombarding you with queries a bit lately, haven't I?
Sean.
