Problem with Excel toolbar

Hello Swivelers,
while checking out the Excel toolbar I encountered the following
problem:
(on Excel 2003 (SP3) German version)
my first line reads
A - B - C - D1 - D2 - D3 - E
the tabelized file reads
A - B
A - C
A - D1
A - D2
A - D3
A - E
wheras I thought it would be
A - B - C - D1 - E
A - B - C - D2 - E
A - B - C - D3 - E
Do you know where my error is?!
