Locations for the first meeting

Heya,
growing everyday the group reaches quite a number of Swiss XSI users.
Thank you all for your participation.

I want to start the next step now to find a nice location for the
first meeting.
For the first meeting I think it is a good thing to talk, eat and
drink and drink and..

We get known each other and can plan what could be of interest for
another meeting.
I can get access to a good location at the Fachhochschule Basel, the
"Hyperwerk"
for bigger events. There we can use beamer and IT infrastructure. But
for the first
meeting this is just overkill ;)

I already mentioned a nice Italian restaurant in solothurn:

They serve good food and have affordable prices.

Solothurn would be good because it lays "inbetween" most of our
locations.
Of course you are invited to help finding a good location also. Maybe
you
already have something interesting to show or talk. Tutorials or
experience
speaches are very welcome.

Hello,
no reply yet on the location part, so I let you choose between
Basel and Solothurn now. Anyone who wants to take part please make
your choices.

when everything goes fine, i have a nice surprise guest coming to the
first meeting from faaaar faaar away ;)

the meeting will take place somewhere between july 23rd and august
23rd,
gotta get clear on that and let you know when i know it.

if nobody chooses, i choose myself and enjoy the beers together with
the
surprise guest, hehe.

for me its really ok both, i have my GA for trains...
plz do the meeting @friday or saturay if possible.

I see no problems wit the location..

but i'm on a Road-Trip in August (skate-stuff :D )
so i would like to see the meeting a bit earlier if Possible.
