Hi, all,
I took some time away from work over the holidays to get SwitchList building with the latest version of Xcode, and fixed a couple problems encountered on more recent versions of Mac OS. Before I send this off to the Mac App Store for review, can folks try installing it and see if they encounter any problems? I've tested on 10.13, 10.15, and 11.3, but haven't tested on MacOS 12 (Monterey) and don't have an M1 Mac to test on. If you have such a system, I'd appreciate hearing if SwitchList works ok.
The new version is SwitchList 1.3.3. This version and future versions will require Mac OS 10.9 (which is eight years old, and runs on machines from 2008). If you're still running an older machine or running an older MacOS, staying with the current SwitchList 1.3.2 is for you.
You can test the new version by downloading this disk image.

Drag SwitchList from the disk image to your hard drive to run it. Note that MacOS has become more suspicious of randomly downloaded binaries, so you may get the "This binary is damaged" or "Apple cannot check it for malicious software" warnings. There's different ways to tell MacOS you trust the binary. After getting the error, you can either go to System Preferences "Security and Privacy" and click the button about trusting SwitchList. On MacOS 11.3, run once to get the "Apple cannot check it", then control-click SwitchList and select Open once to let MacOS know you trust the binary.
I'll plan to send this off for App Store review next week, and if all goes well you should be able to install it from the App Store in a few weeks.
Thanks,
Robert
