Can the Ablenet Hook+ Switch Interface work with Android with a Lightning Female to USB Male Adapter?

I’m not certain but the lightning connection is only an Apple thing and even if it does connect, the hook is only meant to send switch events, specific to iOS.

however, the AbleNet blue2 will work with android.

have you tried the new head tracking feature in iOS 13? I’m using it to type this. :)

Hi Shalom,
I didn't try the Ablenet Hook with any adapter, but if you need a system to connect your own switches to your android (and not the ones with Blue2) you can also try Applicator, from Pretorian. It has four switch entries, and it connects by bluetooth to your device. I normally use in an iOS device, but it also works in Android. When using in iOS (don't know if it works in Android)  you can select a function to use a long click on a switch to perform Home Button, and you don't waste another specific button for this function.

Can you explain a little bit more about head tracker in iOS13?
I tried in my Mac, but I didn't know it was for iOS, also... How do you set up?
Thank you very much.

Thanks for your advice Christopher! I think I may just try and see if anything happens. Otherwise, I will get the Blue2. No I haven't tried the new head tracking feature in iOS 13. It sounds interesting though, will give it a try.

Hi Christopher,

Can you explain how to set up  the head tracking feature in iOS13?

As far as I know, if you use switch access, you can set up a switch using only the device so that the camera detects when you move your head to the left or to the right, so you perform  switch action, that you can determine the action to do: click, move to next item, home, etc... Is this what you use? If this is your access system, do you have a good experience using it?

In a Mac computer, you can set up a real head tracker, using your front camera, to follow the movements of your head so you move the mouse on the screen. But I think this option is not possible in iOS, is it?
What kind of interesting access are you using?
