to Switch Model
Dear Matthais Fripp and other SWITCH model contributors,
Sorry that may touble you again, but I really met some troubles that I can't deal with them by myself. Today, I tried to constrain the output of baseload generators to vary in a range but not contain a constant and fixed value in a whole period. Therefore, in the no.commit module, I delete the Var "DispatchBaseloadByPeriod", and I add the new codes about the constraint of the baseload generators( please see Figure 1). You can see that, the new codes which I have added in the no.commit module aim to constrain the output of baseload generator(mainly coal-fired generators) to 0 or to a range that is between 40% of the baseload generators' available cumulative capacity to 100% of the baseload generators' available cumulative capacity. This constraint reflects the fact that most of the baseload generators(mainly coal-fired generators) could not maintain its output below 40% of its available cumulative capacity in China. But when I run the SWITCH model after I added this new codes, the errors have happened( please see Figure 2). Sorry that I couldn't interpret the error and I couldn't find the solutions on it. So, if someone could give me some advice on how to deal with it, I will be very appericiated!
Yours sincerely,
Wang Chen
