Last roll call for Adopt-A-Grandparent fundraiser this Saturday Sept. 27 2:00pm - please let me know if you can come! We are the first entertainment, should be done by 3:00. I'll send more details to folks who let me know they're coming.

I'm tentatively scheduling a practice Tuesday night, hopefully at Firefly Studio, IF we get enough folks who can participate Saturday (or Friday for the ASEDA dance) and whose Big Apple/California just needs brushing up. Tiny Snapplers welcome.

 

This is AAG's annual fundraiser, this year celebrating 30 years of service. Special Guests will be Metro Atlanta Bikers Coalition & Lisa Rayam Fox 5 News as MC. This was a lot of fun last year, and it's for a great program. AAG matches adult volunteers with older citizens who are alone and often friendless; the program seeks to enhance the lives of seniors through Companionship, Health and Wellness, Community Involvement and Spiritual Growth and Healing producing empowered, healthy, laughter-prone individuals. Since 1978 AAG has matched more than 1,000 seniors with volunteers. www.adoptagrandparent.org
