lindy demo and Big Apple for Lakeside H.S. band benefit swing dance Thursday

Hey folks-

I need a couple--or a few--to do a performance-level (intermediate/advanced) lindy demo at the Lakeside High School bend benefit swing dance Thursday night. Mark your calendars for the February 11, 2010 Lakeside High School jazz band concert / swing dance and band fundraiser.

Those kids can play! and it's always a fun time. This is a great opportunity to show off our swing dance community.
Music starts at 7:00 PM, then a basic lesson at 7:30 PM (so bring your nondancer friends), then live music/DJ'd tunes for the rest of the night. (Live music: LHS Jazz band/DJ: Dr Mike. aka "Moose")
Cost: $5 for ASEDA members/$10 Regular (to be confirmed.)

This will be a Valentines Day-themed dance, so wear red or pink!

If there are enough folks to do a big Big Apple, we'll try to do one so get ready to jump in!
