Swingin' from the Heart is in popular demand to perform again at the St. Josephs Mercy Care Services community celebration next Saturday, October 11.

Please RSVP to me by this Wednesday October 1 if you can make it.

Remember, all lindyhoppers are welcome - you don't have to know any routines or fancy moves! If you do have a routine you'd like to do, let me know, I'm sure they'd appreciate it!

 

Where: Parking lot of Mercy Care Services downtown clinic, just east of downtown Atlanta, near the King Memorial MARTA station, 424 Decatur Street, Atlanta.

When: We'd go on around 11:30 or 12:30, for about a half hour.

 

We'll do some social dancing, maybe a jam circle for those who want to show their stuff, and a basic swing lesson. Attached is a flyer for the event. We are invited to have lunch and stick around and enjoy the rest of the festival.
 
Mercy Care Services is a non-profit that provides health care and health related services to the homeless and poor. Each year they throw this little "party" in celebration of their clients. They ask people in the community to donate their talents and services and come together for some fun and fellowship. 
 
The organizer tells me SFTH was a big hit last year—so much so, they're being asked if we'll be back.
