Last call for dancers for the Adopt A Grandparent fundraiser September 19!

 

Please let me know by Friday 8/21 if you CAN come dance for these folks.

 
Swingin' from the Heart has been invited back to appear at the annual Adopt A Grandparent fundraiser Saturday, September 19, 2-5pm.
We have been there for the last several years, and have a special connection because Peter Zellner, one of our own, is an active volunteer with that organization. You can read more about this great organization here: http://www.adoptagrandparent.org/ .
This event is always a lot of fun, and SFTH's always a big hit. As with almost all SFTH events, all dancers are needed, no matter what level you are or whether you know any choreography. If we have some folks (could be one or more couples) who know some choreography they want to perform, or have some other performance they'd like to do, that will be great. We generally get about 20 minutes on the agenda, and in that time we have a participatory part like teaching a basic swing lesson or something else like a social Big Apple, and a "performance" aspect which might be a choreographed routine, a jam, or just a bunch of us social dancing.
