Performance-level swing dancers are needed for a Special Olympics benefit, "Dancing Thru the Decades", in Conyers on Sunday, February 14 7:00-9:00pm.

This is a great cause (http://www.specialolympics.org/) that helps lots of kids - what a great way to spend Valentines Day!

If you and a partner (or better yet, a group) are interested, let me know, and I'll forward the contact information for the organizer.

Here's the message from our contact:

"Hi! I am a ballroom and Latin dancer at Academy Ballroom in Atlanta. A fellow teacher friend of mine, Donna Maloof, is organizing a benefit for Special Olympics on Sunday, February 14, 2010. Yes, that is Valentine's Day. Since I do pro-am dancesport comps, my friend asked me if I would be willing to do her benefit, which is called "Dancing Thru the Decades." I agreed, but I told her she would need to contact other performing artists to fill out her program. Would your group be able and willing to perform at the benefit? It's for a great cause.

Here are the specifics...
Time: 7 P.M.-9 P.M.
Location: Romp 'n Roll, 3174 Salem Road, Conyers, GA 30013

If your group would be able to participate, that would be great! So many children will be able to reap the rewards of the benefit. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or Donna Maloof. Thank you for your consideration.

Jennifer Howell"
