Hope everyone has had a good start to 2016 and is looking forward to some great dancing to come.

Class Information:

MONDAY & THURSDAY - It's been good to see so many people in classes this month and fun to run through our "Singing in the Rain" routine.  February classes will be working on swing outs in beginners and there will be a new routine for the second hour.  Please note that there will be NO CLASS MONDAY 25 JANUARY because of the public holiday next day, but Tuesday and Thursday classes will be held as normal. 

TUESDAY - The year started with some tricky work - congratulations for rising to the challenge everyone.   The "Doin the Jive" stroll in the second hour is coming along very well and we will continue to lock it in over the next couple of weeks (love the music).

The Grubs are a Melbourne based New Orleans style trad jazz band, with an emphasis on bringing a larrikin, Australian approach to the music. Expect a raucous set of New Orleans party music, transported to Brunswick - with a focus on collective improvisation, syncopated dance rhythms and general rowdiness. The band is a classic Dixieland sextet.
