There's a guy with one in The Dalles (1.5-2 hours from Portland) that
I may try and buy but it would be MUCH more convenient if there was
one in Portland for sale or, if I could just ride it a bit and get
some ideas for a project that Brent may help me with. (Thanks for
calling me this morning Brent!)

I just sold one. I live in Boring Oregon just outside of Portland.
I've got another one here that I've taken all apart. It's the very same one I rode when I was a kid so I know it's all stock. It took me over 20 years to locate. Sad thing though, it was stored in a barn all the years I was in the Service so most of the chrome needs to be all done again. The factory chrome was not that great. But the good news is that it's nearly 100% complete.

Would you be willing to part with it? If so, how much?

Never thought about selling it. It's all taken apart here in the house. Along with an NOS rear tire. As to what I'd want for it, that would depend on an offer. If someone offered me enough for it I might let her go.
