Just a quick reminder that "SUBBlime Swing" are playing again tomorrow night (Sunday 2nd Nov) at the
Manor Arms in Burton. "The Slimes" (as they are are affectionately known) play dance music from the
30s, 40s and early 50's - think, Louis Jordan, Louis Prima, Eddie Vinson, Joe Williams etc, along
with a few songs from the swing revival bands such as Indigo Swing and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy etc...
As usual the price of admission includes an introductory swing dance lesson from 7pm-8pm, and Dean
(the landlord) has given us permission to move some tables to make more room for dancing since it
was so crowded last time.
So, shake off those 'start of winter' blues, come on down and jitterbug the night away!
When? Sunday 2nd November (tomorrow!) 7pm-8pm Dance lesson, 8pm-10:30pm Slimes!
Where? Manor Arms, Burton
Cost? £5 for the public, £3 for SUBB group members, patrons etc
Hope to see you there!
