Thorell FV Guitar

Is the Thorell FV (Frank Vignola), the new hybrid acoustic archtop
super guitar. If Mr Vignola gave up his Benedetto for one, than it
must be good, but is it an archtop, or an acoustic, or right in the
middle, or more of one than the other? Well I haven't played on, and
can't afford one at the moment, and will have to wait when the wife's
not looking when and if I can. But I'm betting it's a guitar that will
take on the big boys, and will interest the acoustic purists. It is
probably more of a gigging guitar than acoustic studio guitar because
I find it hard to believe it has an acoustic quality that competes
with flattops. But then I may be wrong.
