Dear Swing Beijing Friends!!

Notice is a bit last minute (typical..hehe), but dates and locations have finally been set!  We'll be celebrating the 8th Anniversary of Swing Beijing on Friday, June 10th at CD Blues!!

Started by Adam Lee way back when CD Blues was still CD Jazz - we've been going strong for eight years and want to celebrate our totally awesome swing family.  There isn't anything quite like it and we'd like to recognize that fact. 

The party will start around 9pm and go as late as we can!! We'll have the CD Blues house band to play for us as well as a bunch of fun performances, a 'surprise' Jack & Jill contest (you'll have to wait for the surprise...hehe) and our Awards Ceremony!! 

We've put together a few awards that think recognize the best of what we represent - both dancing and socially - the categories are Best Teacher, Follow of My Dreams, Lead of My Dreams, Miss Swivel, Mr Swingout and Heart & Soul of Swing Beijing - but before we can vote, we need to NOMINATE people. NOTE: you can nominate several people for one award, just go back and fill in the form again.  We have a few in mind, but we need all of your input, so go to our NOMINATION PAGE and put the name in for each you think should win. Then we'll pick the people with the most nominations and put it to a vote!!

Please be sure to finish nominations by June 7 so we have time to vote!!

跳舞朋友们！

依旧迟来的通知终于发了，我们《摇摆北京八周年庆》活动终于定下来了！！我们将要6月10日（周五）在CD Blues举办一大型庆祝活动。

当CD Blues还是CD Jazz的时候，我们的创始人Adam Lee，在那里开了第一个摇摆舞课，接下来的八年里我们最棒的摇摆舞大家庭一直在成长。我们所有的朋友都非常特别，而我们想认可这些很好的朋友。

活动将在晚上九点钟开始，一直到天亮或最后一个人还在跳！当晚有CD自己的乐队为我们演出很好的跳舞音乐，还有不少表演、一场带有惊喜J&J比赛（惊喜当晚才能知道哦）还有颁奖仪式！！

关于颁奖仪式，我们这边设计了一些我们认为能很好的代表我们Swing Beijing的经典，不仅在跳舞方面，还有人品（呵呵） - 奖项包括：最佳老师、梦中的Follower、梦中的Leader、Swivel小姐、Swingout先生还有综合性的摇摆北京之星。。。不过，在投票之前，我们要先提名（注意：为一个奖项提名多个人需要重填表格）。我们这边已经有想法，但我们需要你们来参与！请尽快到我们提名网页。我们最后会将提名最多的人选放入新的表格并进行正式投票！！
