Firstly, how many people do we have to represent Oxfam stand at this
years festival? Could you please let me know asap? I don't know the
specific date of the festival but last years festival was on a
Saturday in early Sept so i assume it is around the same time.
Secondly, i have two suggestions one: we run with the same theme we
did last year which was climate change, or
two: we focus on the food crisis situation.
Thirdly, as we haven't had a meeting this year, i would suggest that
we meet on this Saturday 12 July at 12 noon at "Piri Piri" to discuss
what i learn from the meeting and how we intend to move forward.
(Piri Piri is in the town centre close to the Brunel centre. It is
across from Blacks on the street where all the charity shops are
located such as the British Heart Foundation. The specific address is
29 Havelock Street, Swindon ).
Take care
Carmel

Hi,
think festival is 13th, I can commit to being there. Can't make 12th for meeting however - at wedding. can we try to set something up for following week? suggest we go for Climate change theme - don't know if there are any "food crisis" resources, and theme may be too complex for the youth. Also, Climate Change is tried and tested, just needs tweaking. Otherwise, just agree to whatever you feel is appropriate!
