Heh chaps, what did I miss from the rest of the meeting (other than the splendid looking chocolate cake)?

I’ve had a chance to think more about a building block game and think I might have a really good game suggestion, which would link in questions and be unequivocal if we wanted to give a prize.

Non the less, attached are directions to my place as none of you have been there before – it’s number 71 Stubsmead, I’ve got a brown picket fence outside and a half wiskey barrel with roses planted in (if the last two survive till next week…) ignore the bit about some chap coming off the 419 – it’s was created for a guy from Salisbury.

So next Wednesday at 7pm?

Hello,

in response to Greg's message:

7.00 Wednesday at yours as planned. Should we bring any food/ eat first / expect a 4-course banquet?

Various ideas were kicked around after you left, or possibly before:

Treasure Hunt - display Oxfam posters around site, prepare quiz / treasure hunt for youngsters to fill in & return for prize

Lucky-dip eco-challenge: youngsters to pull-out eco-challenge pledge ie "I promise to turn off all lights around the house for a week" and then agree to try to carry it out. Take away wallet cards with reminder of their challenge?

With pledge cards: hang on some kind of "washing line" to be hung around stage or on site as photo-op.

Below is a much belated to-do list plus list and quantities of our materials:

TO DO:

Becs: Go to next meeting!
Check OK to hang "treasure hunt" material around site                                      Oxfam shop re Fair Trade products to sell

Kat:     printing quote from old contact
            Investigate food freebies for prizes

Carmel / Gaute (+ All): Draft questions for treasure hunt

Me:  get quotes from Printers for posters
Check with Oxfam OK to claim as expenses.

Greg: think of game!

Resources:

Stop Climate Chaos leaflets                              100
Pledge Cards                                                    200
Wallet cards - Oxfam Climate Change  260
Transfers                                                          100
Badges                                                             80
Oxfam small booklets                                       too many to count
Parliamentary campaigner cards                        "         "     not relevant?

Barrier Tape
Rattle tins
Table cloth

Unfortunately as it is now Sunday I have probably forgotten things, but we can go through on Wednesday.

Emma

Sweet – see you all tomorrow at mine then, I’ll lay on some food – nothing fancy like a dinner party though
