Swimming Pool Filter Pump not Working ----- HELP!!

My pool has been having several problems. I will outline the
situation and hopefully someone can give me some helpful advise.

1. Polaris Booster pool went out out totally. Purchased and
installed a new one.
2. Ran filter pump and then booster and both worked for 1 day and the
filter pool went out.
3. Purchase and installed a capacitor for the filter pump. It worked
fine for 4 days.
4. Both pools worked approximately 4 days. It took a while to get
the booster pump to work, but it finally did for a few days.
5. Now the Filter Pump is NOT working. It hums, but no pump no. The
pump is not filtering.

Any suggestions????

Given the issues you've ad with your polaris and filter pumps, I would recommend having an electrician come out and evaluate the electrical situation. There may be a series of anomalies in the load.
