I haven't heard from them since the last post went up. I was thinking of this earlier too, and will attempt to get ahold of them in a few hours, after they wake up and right before I go to bed - that seems to be the best time for us to connect.

Hey everyone,

As expected I talked with Porter tonight. It took a while for us to get a good cell tower connection, but long story short everyone is fine. They're in Kanpur, right on schedule. They were actually a little bit ahead of schedule, and it looks like now they're going to get a little behind schedule. They have to navigate a dam on the water, and they think it'll take 4 days to get around - sounds like the boats might have to come out of the water for a bit.

Here's their latest satellite position:

It's 2am EST now - by the time I wake up hopefully someone on their end will have found an internet cafe in town, and will be able to get me some pictures, video, etc. - so check the blog Friday for any recent updates, and I'll send the juiciest details directly to y'all here.
