This was the location of the crew at their last satellite position check-in, around 8:06am EST this morning; they should be waking in a couple hours and will continue their trek downriver. This is, by all measure, the final push - they should be in Varanasi shortly.
In case you haven't been following on the blog: following the capsized boat, they eventually rebuilt and continued on. Some went ahead to Allahabad to scout and make new friends.
A new story will go live tomorrow morning but other than that it's been quiet for a couple days. I'll leave you with this:
