How can i put form validations to current admission form?

I need to put form validations to admission form like name field must accept only characters,  internal id must accept only numerics, email validations, password must atleast 8 characters long etc...Please tell me how can i  put the above javascript validations?

Sir,

I would think if you are at all experienced with Javascript, what you are proposing is fairly simple.

It could also be done via PHP, but the entire form would need to be submitted for the validation to occur.

Checking for 8 character minimum, for example:

}, {
    name: 'minlength',
    display: 'min length',
    rules: 'min_length[8]'
