Force user to change password on first logon

Hi all,

I have a new situation like when a user is provided with id & password given by admin and if the user login for the first time he must be asked to change the default password given by admin.  It must appear to only first time logged in users only. Please anyone know how to acheive this functionality?

Create a field in the database table called firstuse and set it to zero by default. When loggin in check the value and change it to 1 after first loggin
