Password Updation not working in Teacher login

Hi all,

I have created a teacher and logged in with teacher. When i click on "Update Password"  and entered the new password for teacher, i'm getting password successfully updated message. But using the new password i'm not able to login. I;m getting invalid password message.  if i use my old password  instead of new password (after updating new pasword) then it is logging in.  So did anyone know where the problem occurs.
