Give your views on the new nature strategy for London

Dear Londoners,

The Greater London Authority (GLA) is asking Londoners for their views on the Draft London Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).

The Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) is a new spatial tool for London’s nature and is one of 48 new strategies across England that aim to reverse biodiversity loss. It sets out which parts of our city’s nature require the most urgent attention, how to help them recover, and where resources could have the greatest impact.

Your feedback will help to make sure that the strategy captures the most important priorities for nature in London.

Find out more and have your say at Have Your Say Today - London LNRS - Commonplace.

The consultation runs until 29 October 2025.

Hi all,
This London LNRS (Local Nature Recovery Strategy) is one allocated to me for the Swifts & Planning Group.

It's mid ranking for quality amongst those published (as draft or final) at the moment,
there's room for improvement in particular to get minimum numbers of bricks as per the NPPG.

If you're in the London area and can contribute,

please email me at swifts....@gmail.com

I might not have time to reply initially, but once I've reviewed the LNRS in more detail I'll send an email Bcc'ing those who responded & suggest some co-ordinated comments in a week or so,

with plenty of time to respond before the consultation closes on 29/10/25.

All the best,
Mike
