Just before the conference, I asked if any groups have information about the uptake of integral bricks by swifts, and others. Thank you to all those who have replied.
The question has been taken up with interest by the SLN Planning group, and so I am sharing the link to the Google form again, in case anyone else has any data.

It's a very simple form, designed to hold the basic data that should be useful when lobbying planning authorities.
As we look forward to swifts' arrival, perhaps this would encourage all who have bricks in their areas to collect this information.
Thank you
Ros

Please can I encourage responses to this email about evidence of occupied Swift bricks?

Unfortunately since Ros sent this email 6 days ago, not one member of the SLN has filled in the form. A small number of responses were received back in November when the original request was made, but there must be many more examples of Swift bricks being used in various parts of the country.

Evidence of Swift brick occupation is really important, and in the long term the intention is for the results to be made available for future use, but it won't be particularly helpful if SLN members just keep data to themselves rather than sharing it.

Please - we can do better than this!

Best wishes

In Hampshire on the North Milton estate, New Milton, all 29 of the Swift bricks that were installed on the estate in 2011/2012 are being used by Swifts as well as 40 out of 50 holes provided in soffits and 8/8 holes in fascias.

Thank you, Tim. Brilliant data for our list.
I'll add it to the spreadsheet
