Cairngorms National Park LDP consultation

Hi all,

I've been alerted to the Cairngorms National Park's current consultation for its Local Development Plan, closing on 12/06/26.

This is topical as Abernethy Forest lies within this national park:

Some more detail:

Swifts are not specifically included in the current National Park policies;

This is an early-stage "Call For Ideas" consultation so essentially a blank page at present;

Building Regulations changes in Scotland will overtake the plan, but we don't know the details of the regs changes at the moment so it could be possible to get a stronger local policy;

Local Development Plans are equivalent to the Local Plan in England, and only cover planning-related issues but this can potentially be protection of existing locations.
