Good evening all.

Our initial colony check at St.John’s church this evening has shown that 58/60 boxes are occupied. Our highest occupancy at this stage.
Oldest chicks 7-10 days from fledging, others just completed laying full clutches. Could be a long season!
Have a good weekend.

Terrific result Simon,
The nest boxes in St John's are unlike any others that I know of. The entrances are clearly of a form that suits the swifts.
Let's hope no predator turns up to exploit this wonderful colony.
