Job done, but what an awful journey. We are delighted to see this beautiful couple living their best lives again.

Thanks so much for your support. We were amazed by the support from all the different sources. We couldn't have imagined it.

It should embolden us all to put pressure on our respective Police regions to respond with knowledge and efficiency to reports of crimes against swifts.

We have received an email from our MP who has committed to meeting  Chief Supt Tim DeMeyer of Surrey Police to discuss the case and request the building survey carried out before the work (there never is one)  from Raven Housing Trust. This is a very good step and perhaps we can influence postive change.

With love, thanks, happy swift watching and conservation to you all.

Wonderful!!

And really useful to know that the Swifts returned to try again, even when they had found the site inaccessible for a number of days.

Congrats for all your efforts. Superstars!

Laurinda

P.S. I did send an email too, so hoping my RSPB address may have added to the weight of pressure 😊
