Hi all,

Here's a couple of recent uploads to the SLN library (http://tinyurl.com/SLNlibrary ).

You may have seen this one on social media a couple of months ago, a new research document by RSPB and others:
"High fidelity to nest sites and partners in the Common Swift Apus apus - Bell et al 2026 (BirdStudy)",
located in folder:
'Articles and Research Papers'.

Also an updated local authorities spreadsheet with details of relevant Local Plans etc.:
"LAs LNRS NHP with nestbox brick provision 26 07 2026",
located in folder:
'Planning Process/ Planning Policies & SPDs/ Examples of Policies...'.

(Thanks Camilla for the hard work updating this document.)

An update about the NPPF 2026 update, not all LAs have replied when contacted but all that have are positive and say they'll apply it.

All the best,
Mike

Thanks so much for all the work which has gone into the updated Local Authority sheet. Really useful. 😊
