Hello all

The above were released today and we are delighted that swifts have made it to the priority list as have recommendations on swift bricks, boxes, mainitaining and restoring nest sites. We must wait for the final, but this is significant news.

The draft consultation is open until 25th September 2025.

We (Banstead Swifts) were also very pleased to be asked to submit our 'Nature Recovery' story for the draft report LNRS Description Strategy Area Draft, which may be seen on page 40.

Mike Priaulx is key to swifts making this draft priority list. Mike provided prompt, expert response and counsel to me. That prepped me to feel confident enough to go to the workshop and have a follow up Teams call with the Project Lead.
